I read this interesting article today about how Facebook is letting people publish their content to the world, and not just to other Facebook users. I'm a bit mixed: I suppose it's nice to have the option, but I think I'll stick to just sharing stuff with my friends. I suppose my views may be a bit old-fashioned, though. When I first started using Facebook, you needed a college email to get in...

Huh, yeah, I'm on Facebook as well, and I find it weird that my mom has an account... Personally, I'd prefer it to stay more personal.

Most people I know that use facebook, like it because its private.. more private than myspace. So well so how that flies.

"Because it's more private"....

technically, no.... once it's on the web, it's ON the web.... no matter how much you try to control it, there are too many variables (namely, other people) that can still distribute that which you deem to be 'private'....
