After being in "beta" (typically a label for software that's in the testing stages, stable enough to use, but not yet ready for public release) stage for five years, Gmail is finally moving out of beta.

You could probably say that my website is still in beta, stable enough to work but nowhere near the final product I hope to one day have. I chose not to label it as such, though, as it would never move out of it.

For those of you familiar with software development cycles, what do you think of using the "beta" label with software that is always in development?
