What web browser do you use? Also, if you know what version you use, please post that too. I'm curious how much I need to focus on Internet Explorer when I'm making skins for the website.

I use Firefox 3 as well. I only use IE to check my work schedule...

I am on my netbook right now, using Firefox 3. I also use Firefox on my laptop that runs Vista. I assume that is also v.3.

Yeah, I think most people use Firefox 3 now Terance.

Mmm, perhaps those that register for my website mainly use Firefox, but in general, I've heard that the majority of people use Internet Explorer.

Really? o.O I don't know a lot of people who use that any more... it's mostly old people who don't know anything about the Internet who use IE.

That's a common misconception, probably because most people in our peer group use Firefox. However, IE is still the most used browser by far. However, its lead has been steadily declining from over 91% in the end of 2004 to only 65% today. Firefox over the same time period has gone from 3% to 22%. Still, three times more people use IE than Firefox.

Note: Those statistics are conservative, shading towards a too low estimate of IE. Other statistics suggest IE continues to hold as much as 81% of the browser market as of March 2009. Only one suggests a lower value for IE, at 57%.

Firefox of course, I'm also starting to use Safari since I noticed that it runs a lot better since it when to 4.1
