Dear Stephen, ...

Around two years ago, I had an idea...

"In today's world, it seems like all communication is done via email. Email is great, because it's fast, free, and easy.

"While email can be convenient, it seems like we are getting fewer and fewer letters. I always love it when I get mail (that isn't junk), but it seems like I haven't been getting that much of it, lately. In college, especially, it's nice to go down to your mailbox and see something besides the flier from student development. I'm sure there are many other people that also feel that way."

A couple years ago, I was sitting in my house, bored. I really liked getting mail, but no one ever sent me any. So, I decided to post a note on Facebook asking my friends to send me their addresses. In return, I would send them a letter. All I asked is that they would write me back.

And so, with the quote above, I started my Facebook note to them. And now, I extend the offer to anyone who would like mail. That does not just include other college students, or people I know. I'm making this offer to anyone. If you ever wanted a pen-pal, here is your chance. If you just want someone to talk to, a third person who is not involved in your life, I am here. If you have friends who would be interested, feel free to pass my address on to them.

Along the left you will see the a list of links. Curious who I am? Why I'm doing this? Or, need to refresh yourself on how to write a personal letter? You'll find the answer to all of those and more within the links.

Thanks so much for reading! I hope to hear from you soon!
