Dear Stephen, ...

You want me to write a what?

In case it's been a while since you've written a personal letter (or haven't written one at all), I have included a few resources you can use while writing said letter.

- How to Write a Letter - wikiHow - Literally, step-by-step instructions for writing a letter

- Sample Personal Letters - WritingHelp Central - Many examples of personal letters. I normally use a template like this with my letters

A few notes: I like letters that are handwritten. If your writing is atrocious, feel free to type. Please write if you can, though. Second, I prefer manuscript over cursive. A lot of the cursive I have seen is very sloppy, and often the author themselves can't read it. If your cursive is precise and legible, feel free to use it. The main thing I am concerned about is you spending a lot of time on a letter, and me not being able to read it. Last, feel free to use whatever paper you'd like. Lined paper, stationery, the back of an old test, it's all fine. I use loose-leaf notebook paper for my letters.
